Experience with Federal Cost principles and administrative requirements (2 CFR part 225 formerly OMB A-87) Highly desired 5 years
Experience with State and Agency policy, procedures and applicable laws Required 5 years
Experience with SDLC management concepts, technical writing and documentation practices Required 5 years
Experience with quality assurance, requirement analysis principles and methodology Required 5 years
Experience with Business Process modeling methods and techniques Required 5 years
Experience IT metrics, cost benefit analysis methodology Required 5 years
Experience with Project management principles and methodology Highly desired 5 years

Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization.
The Department of Administrative Services has a need for a Business Analyst to assist them in the FY14. Roles and responsibilities:
1. Use business process modeling and/or vendor solution evaluations to
Analyze potential for streamlining or reengineering the cost allocation/rates development processes including coordination of inputs from budget and assets management, outputs to billing and invoices, via implementation of various information technology solutions.
2. Identifies risks and recommends changes related to processes and procedures.
3. Makes recommendations for gains in efficiency or costs thru implementation of various information technology solutions
4. Develop proposed models and analyze rate methodology.

The Business Analyst is responsible for the set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
