Job Description

We are currently seeking a Facilities and Utilities Maintenance Leader with primary responsibility of the repair of support equipment and facilities maintenance. Ensure team's goals are aligned with and represent the company's objectives. The Facilities Leader will have detailed understanding of our company's and customers' expectations for the areas of contractor management, some hazardous materials management, and any related contractual requirements of those applicable to daily operations of the Garner facility.


* Facilities management to include: air compressors, chillers, HVAC, dust systems, fire suppression system, electricity to building, lighting, plumbing, grounds maintenance, dock doors as well as any other facility related equipment.
* Supervises Facilities Maintenance Department personnel; assigns work, schedules leave, evaluates performance, provides technical training and support, ensures adherence to and facilitates employee training and compliance with all company safety rules and procedures.
* Prepares and issues work order assignments and performs quality control on completed work.
* Directs and supervises contract maintenance services for landscaping, roofing, janitorial, forklift, and pest control services.
* Schedules and prioritizes maintenance, preventive maintenance and repairs activities of Garner facilities, structures, equipment and events. Ensures timely completion of work. Coordinates with key stakeholders
* Provides and maintains heating, cooling, electric power, gas, compressed air, water, sewer and dust collection by directing installation of, modifications to, and maintenance activities on utility systems.
* Works on related projects as assigned - including expansion, retrofits, upgrades, etc., and may serve as project manager and technical expert.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- 2-year technical degree in building maintenance technology, HVAC or similar technical field or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Facility Maintenance Management in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving solutions.
- Demonstrated electrical & mechanical aptitude with hands on experience in a manufacturing environment.
