KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
Medical Terminology (or completion of course within 90 days of hire – required)
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must have demonstrated good communication skills and legible handwriting.
Must have at least two years of experience working with computers and have the ability to use word processing and spreadsheets.
Demonstrated touch typing with minimum of 40 wpm.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
One year experience in a health care or institutional setting with computerized hospital patient accounts preferred.
Competency in the use of a standard photocopier, FAX machine, Zetafax and multi-line switchboard phone system.
