This individual will take ownership of both the design and professional stamping for Wet/Dry HVAC and plumbing system permits and construction documents.

Responsibilities:
-Prepare engineering documents in the form of study reports, drawings, and specifications that may be stamped and signed as required.
-Prepare mechanical construction documents using Revit.
-Execute the mechanical engineering aspects of a project within the budget, schedule, and quality as agreed with the PM and/or customer.
-Work in partnership with project managers and account managers and leverage industry expertise to assist in day-to-day general engineering questions and customer requests.
-Maintain an accurate workload schedule.
-Maintain an accurate database of current and past engineering projects.
-Provide mechanical systems training, mentorship, best practice guidelines, and insight for APMs and PMs as needed.
-Maintain record-keeping to track engineering hours to ensure all jobs are being completed in a timely manner. Host recurring meetings with -Project and Account Managers to review project status.
-Proactively investigate opportunities for new technology, systems, and reduced energy usage.
-Provide technical support for the field and resolve issues.
-Promote all of Egan Company’s offerings including: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building automation, fire, security systems, and monitoring.
-Assist in business development, estimating, and sales.
-Promote Egan processes and be proactive in creating more efficient ways of operation.
-All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
-Required: P.E., BS Degree in Engineering and minimum of 3 years of experience after receiving P.E. license.
-MN license is required; ability to obtain a WI license within 6 months is also required.
