Job Description

Title: Microstrategy Consultant
Job Type: Contract
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Implement and enhance monitoring to provide visibility into the health of the system
Monitor the system health and setup automated alerts and monitors to prevent failures
User access management
Monitor system usage trend and perform capacity planning
Support and execute preventive maintenance activities
Daily/Weekly/Monthly metadata backup
Develop and enhance changes to the Microstrategy mobile applications
Create and manage quality documents as needed
MSTR QA refresh (monthly) and DEV refresh (quarterly)
Resolve Tickets and incidents reported by platform users
Attend Change Control meetings, design reviews, stand-up calls with the business SME’s and data/application owners.
Manage the delivery or fix issues with Narrowcast machine.
Use report services to create dashboards to create summary level reports using multiple datasets.
Use transformation for comparative reports that help in deeper analysis of the data for the business users.
Compile and manage Microstrategy based iOS mobile apps.
Perform validation/testing of reports using Microstrategy Integration Manager.
Co-ordination with vendor and application during hardware/software upgrades
Development of new reports and redesign of existing reports that are unreliable or inefficient
Review new reports as part of agreed operational transition onboarding and work with various Dev teams to ensure new reports follow existing standards
Provide business/functional/technical support
Responsible for incident investigation, diagnosis and recovery within the defined service levels
Provide acceptance and regression testing for maintenance activities and enhancements created by the support team
Action Service Requests
Provide RCA for problem tickets
Service improvement and enhancement
Monitor scheduled jobs
Handover the backlog and critical incidents to next shift analyst
