Job Description

• Ensures consistent delivery of world-class patient care by evaluating routine peer reviews of staff performance through a variety of mechanisms including, but not limited to, audits and peer reviews.
• Orchestrates in cooperation with Case Management and the SI Intake Team to ensure streamlined nursing operations in assigned region.
• Works with Vice President Nursing Services to implement and monitor compliance with policies and procedures consistent with Joint Commission standards, state and HIPAA regulations.
• Works with New Market Development Team to ensure nursing capacity, training and licensure is gained and maintained for new markets
• Works with Director of Education to recruit, hire and train nurses in new markets within the region, as well as coordinate ongoing training and CEU activities for the PCN team.
• Act as a clinical content expert at the regional level to support New Market Development and Account Executive Teams
• Maintains nursing licensure for all states Pentec Health operates in throughout the assigned region and supports the Vice President Nursing Services in any Branch Administrator functions required in satellite offices in the region.
• Actively involved in enhancing Physician Referrals through personal interaction and in cooperation with the Account Executive
• Fosters a sense of teamwork throughout Nursing, Pharmacy, Case Management and SI Team to create and improve processes impacting the delivery of care through the nursing team.
• Chairs or actively participates in ad hoc and on going committees
• Fosters and maintains positive working relations with Vendors in assigned region
• Continually evaluates PCN education needs and develops initiatives, and participates in training to meet these needs
• Delivers superior patient care to assigned patients in his/her area
• Integrates environment of accountability and staff satisfaction within his/her region
• Facilitates the PCNs through the orientation process and encourages further development in an environment of mutual respect and understanding
• Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and nursing services, analyzing appropriate internal and external data and information to identify opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders for improving services and patient outcomes
• Decisions and actions are based on ethical principles and fosters a non-discriminatory climate in which care is delivered in a manner sensitive to socio-cultural diversity
• Promotes research, and integrating evidence-based knowledge into the identification of best practice in the delivery of nursing care to the appropriate population
