Job Description

Petroleum Sales Representative is responsible for the management, growth, and continued success of sales and business relationships. The primary function of this role is to drive revenue growth through new and existing business. The position will encompass sales, pricing, analysis and a strong customer service connection.

Responsibilities
* Establish connection and contact with existing customer base - Foster continued business and growth through the already established channels.
* Establish new accounts - use effective planning and organization to meet face to face with potential customers - development of sales proposals and presentations
* Develop pricing and sales strategies to strengthen sales revenues and margins by understanding customer requirements and competitor offers. Maximize opportunities by understanding the transportation, product, equipment, labor, etc. costs to provide potential cost solutions.
* Use analysis and marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and monitor competition.
* Build and update account plans for key growth customers; conduct account reviews and ensure service and contact needs are being met for all parties.
* Resolve issues by using problem solving skills develop solutions and make recommendations to satisfy the needs of the customer and company.

Requirements
* Must be able to travel; sit for long periods of time; overnight stays may be necessary at times
* Must have intermediate Microsoft Office experience
* Must have intermediate technology experience; using multiple devices (smart phone, tablet)
* Must be able to preserve confidential information
* Must have a valid driver's license with MVR meeting company fleet policy
* 3+ years of transportation industry sales experience. Petroleum sales is a plus.
