Manages, coaches and mentors Supervisors on all 3 shifts
Provide direction to all production activities, including small batch on all 3 shifts, and weekends
Direct operations to meet scheduled demand
Responsible for achieving process improvement thru project management, working with Engineering, teaching & coaching the supervisors & Group Leaders (the next Supervisors)
Responsible for maintaining all safety requirements & rules within the department
Responsible to work with other departments (Scheduling/Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, QC and R&D) as a team to achieve positive results
Must participate in the interview & review processes for all production personnel
Ensure the production department complies with all ISO requirements
Spending time on all shifts and mandatory weekends as well
Other duties & responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education level: high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing and supervision, with coating experience (powder coatings preferred)
Experience with powder quality and formulations
Expertise with production and laboratory equipment
Excellent computer skills
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Must excel and promote a team environment
Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner
