We are looking for a competent Program Manager to take the lead of our projects and provide day-to-day oversight of administrative and operational functions of the Early Childhood Program. This full-time position is in San Bernardino, CA.

Key Job Duties:

Directs and coordinates a comprehensive, community-based planning process.
Ensures implementation of policies and practices.
Coordinates Early Childhood activities and programs with other programs and organizations in the communities.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local requirements including licensing requirements and program regulations.
Manages communications through media relations, social media etc.
Helps build positive relations within the team and external parties.
Keeps all members of the team up-to-date with relevant project information.
Communicates with team members to ensure maximum efficiency.
Designs and implements training for all staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.


Previous working experience as a teacher in a licensed childcare experience preferred.
BA/BS in Early Childhood Development or similar relevant field required; Master's preferred.
Has at least 8 years in management of a family service program.
Has Child Development Site Supervisor's permit or higher.
In-depth knowledge of program management and development procedures.
Hands-on experience in budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent attention to details.
Proactive problem solver.
May travel occasionally.
Has current CPR/First Aid certification or is willing to obtain or renew, if offered employment.
Bilingual in Spanish is helpful.
Has knowledge of Title 22 Licensing regulations, Head Start Performance Standards, and the Head Start Act.
Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office 2000.
