Job Description

QA Analyst- Tests IT functionalities designed for mostly Web technologies and some AS/400.

Writes Business Requirement Documents for projects.

Ensures quality IT solutions by performing a variety of tests and re-tests on developed software to verify items are working as requested by the internal customer.

Gathers information on desired outcomes by researching and meeting with requestor to determine how systems should operate.

Performs User Acceptance Tests (UAT) by developing various Quality Assurance Processes which include conducting audits, analyzing and verifying documentation and reviewing process changes.

Performs gap analysis per business user requirements and system changes.

Works with system developers to solve problems quickly and effectively.

Provides detailed information on customer requirements by writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) that define the mission, vision and needs of the project.

Improves quality compliance by recommending and following-up on improvement plans, writing training manuals and contributing information to cross-functional Business Quality Improvement teams.
Prepares quality assurance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.

3-5 years’ experience in QA Testing

Strong troubleshooting skills. Insurance industry experience preferred.
