Receive and check in materials. Experience with using scanners required.
Assist in unloading tank and other trucks to ensure hoses are properly connected and stored in the proper containers.
Check incoming materials and supplies against Purchase Order or other documentation.
Gather, sort, and prepare skids, drums, etc. for return or storage.
Maintain proper inventory records and request re-order at established re-order points.
Complete proper documentation correctly and accurately. Enter data into computer.
Cross train in other areas of Shipping Department
Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
As part of the housekeeping procedures, the employee may be involved with the disposal of hazardous waste. The initial training of how to properly dispose of hazardous waste will be performed by the Environmental and Safety Coordinator or the department supervisor. Annual training of the same will be performed by the Environmental and Safety Coordinator.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education level preferred: a high school diploma and/or GED.
One to three years of work experience preferred in a related field but not required
Computer experience strongly preferred
Forklift and Hazmat certifications (training will be provided)
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
Clean work habits and skill in handling large volumes of liquid and raw materials.
Knowledge of the metric system, advanced math skills (specifically multiplication and division), and the ability to convert various measurements required.
Forklift certification strongly preferred
Ability to use the following tools preferred: freight elevator, drum grabbers, drum trucks, scales, gauges, wrenches and ladders.
Ability to frequently life and/or move up to 65 lbs. while performing duties and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
