Qualifications

Entry level position
Strong understanding of different computer languages (Java, C++, Oracle, etc.) that can be used in application development for financial based technology environment / applications.
Understanding client requirements and how they translate to new application features.
Collaborating with development team and other IT peers to set specifications for new applications.
Writing high-quality code to program complete applications on schedule.
The ability to work within teams, designing & development, testing & debug, and implementation of applications.
Write high quality source code top program complete applications.
Perform Unit and Integration testing before implementation.
Conduct Functional and Non Functional testing.
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features.
Develop Technical Documents and guides to accurately represent application design and code.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle Methodology, with specific focus on an Agile or Scrum methodology.
Awareness of being individually affected on the Autism Spectrum (ASD) to some capacity.

Requirements

Proven experience (education and professional) as an application developer.
Experience designing and building applications.
Ability to program in at least one programming language such as C, Java (Preferred), etc.
In Depth Knowledge of programing for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools.
A team player with good communication skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
Great attention to detail and time-management skills
BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field
