Job Description

Quality Assurance team member, you will play a critical role in ensuring our software lives up to its world-class reputation. You will push our software to the limit, making sure it is efficient and intuitive; working side by side with our developers to create high quality software.

Our QA team is critical to our continued success and is appreciated as such.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
The duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:
• Create and update test plans, ensuring functional coverage and application performance
• Create and execute detailed test cases and complex test scenarios
• Provide expertise in understanding what to test, as well as how it should be tested
• Be responsible for testing of a product, including writing the test plans and test cases
• Document and rank defects in agile project management software so they can be addressed by development teams.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (engineering, computer science, accounting, finance, MIS or related fields.)
• Top-notch academics
• Ability to leverage experience to deliver reliable and repeatable tests
• Broad understanding of quality engineering principles and test methodologies
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Basic SQL skills
• Previous software testing experience
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
• A drive to continue learning, specifically about the energy business
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Some travel may be required

Preferred
• Experience with oil and gas revenue accounting, gas processing, crude/gas/NGL transportation, or related fields
