Job Description

Responsibilities:
 Develop long-range strategic marketing plan and sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
 Create and execute sales and marketing strategies which articulate and demonstrate Company Mission, Vision and Values. Plans should be organized by market channel and product area, including annual sales plan and budget, new business targets and strategy, analysis of customer and product line profitability, product development input, high level customer relationships and contacts, guidance of sales teams, trends in markets and channels, competitive position, brand strategy, company image and marketing.
 Partner with management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to and from customers as well as operations staff.
 Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
 Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales & marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements.
 Manage multiple channel selling strategies.
 Conduct market research to determine feasibility and marketability of new products or features.
 Analyze effectiveness of marketing activities and recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitive analysis.
 Build, manage, direct, coordinate and evaluate the Sales and Marketing Department.
 Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws to meet sales and marketing objectives. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
 Conduct problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
 Review ongoing performance results and identify needs of employees. Communicate clearly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity and accountability.
 Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement.
 Implement coaching or mentoring partnerships as appropriate.
 Suggest methods to improve area operations, processes, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.

Ideal Candidate:

 Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans and relationships.
 Must have analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
 Must have knowledge about all aspects of marketing and sales including planning, business development, product development, market research, promotions, customer service and public relations.
 Must be a strong team leader who is committed to the organization's objectives and be able to get results by motivating others.
 Must be able to manage and organize multiple projects and departments.

Requirements:-

 10-15 years' experience in a Marketing/Sales VP or Director capacity.
 Proven track record and related job experience, software application industry preferred.
 Bachelor's (major in software engineering preferred) and Master's degree in Business (concentration in Marketing preferred) or related field is required.
 Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and other computer software programs as needed.
