• At least 3 years of technical data networking experience to include knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, VoIP, SIP and QoS
• At least 3 years of IP telephony and telecommunication systems design and configuration experience to include call center and enterprise telephony components.
• Experience with Cisco CUCM, Unity, CUBE, Contact Center Express and Enterprise,
• Experience with Global VoIP implementations
• Knowledge of Network and VoIP systems design and operation
• Telecommunications configuration and design; knowledge of Unified Communications
• Familiarity with server operating systems (Linux, Windows) and application software
• Solid understanding of networking tools used for monitoring and troubleshooting and an understanding of networking concepts (specifically VLAN, QoS, PoE)
• Knowledge of voice and data communication protocols (H.323, SIP, RTP)
• Knowledge of infrastructure planning and design
• Knowledge of concepts of the system development lifecycle
• Knowledge of solid testing methodologies
• Keen understanding of traditional TDM technologies and how they integrate into an IP communications environment
• Requires an advanced level of competency in complex voice technologies, networking technologies, and international standards.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN security
• Strong understanding of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, TFTP, VLAN, QoS, VoIP, BGP, OSPF, SIP Trunking, MPLS, Multicast
