Sr. Systems Engineer

Perform typical systems administration in AWS such as Account Creations and Migration tasks of Windows Based based physical and virtualized systems, Migration, Deployment, Installation, Configuration, support, maintenance and administration_ 

Assess utilization trends and make appropriate design and implementation recommendations to scale Infrastructure_ Administration and support of AWS cloud based Infrastructure_ 

User Access Control to Windows Systems based AWS IAM and Okta_ Assist in Documentation of Processes and Procedures and ensure Team, Department and Company procedures and policies are followed and adhered_ Assist in the development, implementation and documentation of project-oriented tasks_

Configuration management of Core Operating System configuration items with Puppet_ Build custom infrastructure support tools to automate production processes_ Possible 24/7 Administration and Support for Production Systems with Night & Weekend On-Call Support_ _ Specific Requirements (Technical Knowledge, Software, Etc.)_ _ 

Effective verbal and written communication skills_ Automation skills based on puppet/chef alongside Self Service driven AWS based Virtualization infrastructure administration is a must_ Experience in migrating On-Prem to AWS, deploying, installing, configuring, maintaining, administering, and troubleshooting operating systems_ Experience in configuration, management and tuning of Systems in AWS_ Experience in VMware Infrastructure Provisioning, Configuration and Administration_ 

Experience with Amazon Cloud Infrastructure and Services Management and Administration_ Experience writing scripts (Python, Ruby, Perl)_

Knowledge of automated build systems and tools_ Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef_ Experience in Core Infrastructure services like DNS, NTP, Kerberos, Radius, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, NFS, DHCP_ Understanding of Network Infrastructure and fundamentals on Switches, Router and VLAN configurations_ _ Tenure_ _ Minimum 5-7+ Years of experience in a Systems Administrator/Engineer Position_ BS in Computer Science or related field. (Equivalent experience or expertise considered)
